This macro is a multi-purpose, ghoul(s) buff with a heal on standby. You will be able to cast [/Raise Dead] with a non-modified click, whereafter [/Death Pact] will stand in it’s place for the following 59 seconds (the remaining time a ghoul will be available for [/Death Pact] after the Global Cool Down has cycled). Once modified by pressing shift, [/Army of the Dead] will be available for use (has no effect on the 59 seconds following [/Raise Dead]’s cast). Essentially, you have two combat cool-downs, with instant access to a substantial heal. This macro not helps clean up your action bars but gives the flexibility to maximize the ghoul’s lifespan while avoiding an over-heal. This is accomplished by permitting the heal to be cast almost instantly or at will by the same button or binding the ghoul was summoned with. As for the largest cool-down the Death knight has [/Army of the Dead], it only makes sense to pair the raising of any ghouls to one key, as we store and recall information through known associations. The modifier condition hides this monster cool-down from the keyboard and bars incase of accidental use, but can be easily recalled as the” Ghoul Button”. This macro is useful if over-mobbed, solo or grouped, loss of crowd control or plain neck deep in any hairy situation. This macro is a life saving tool.
